Family Art Saturdays is a great way to get involved with the art community through helping children discover their own creative potential. Every second Saturday of the month, from 2-4pm, a UMOCA educator leads an activity for children of all ages and their families. The activities are all based off of the concepts from exhibits currently in the museum, and are designed to help children discover what the art means to them by creating their own interpretation. Volunteers will assist in executing the projects and answer to the needs of the families attending. For more information about the specific activities each month, go to http://www.utahmoca.org/family-art-saturday/
