Travis County Tax Office one-hour Volunteer Deputy Registrar Training, 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 and 6:30 p.m., first Tuesday of the month, and 10 a.m., first Saturday of the month, at the main tax office, 5501 Airport Blvd., Austin. No reservations necessary. One-hour training qualifies participants to register voters in Travis County. We are looking for an army of volunteers to register voters throughout the county so that they can do their duty and responsibility by exercising their right to vote. Voter registration is a non-partisan activity.

Mission Statement
The Travis County Tax Office Voter Registration Division needs volunteers to register eligible voters. Registering voters is a non-partisan activity. Our goal is to register all eligible voters so they may exercise their duty and responsibility to vote. We can only do this with an army of trained Volunteer Deputy Registrars.
Description
State law requires volunteers must attend a one-hour training class before being sworn in to register voters in Travis County. The tax office's Voter Registration Division organizes events for registering voters throughout the county. Attend a one-hour Volunteer Deputy Training at 10:30 a.m. or 2:30 or 6:30 p.m., first Tuesday and 10 a.m. on the first Saturday of every month at the tax office, 5501 Airport Blvd. No reservation necessary. Just show up and after one-hour, you'll be qualified to register voters in Travis County.
