Communities In Schools of Tacoma seeks an intern to assist with the recruitment, training, and management of volunteers in order to aid the organization in its mission. The intern will assist with volunteer recruitment, orientation and training, communications. The intern will also maintain the volunteer database and ensure that all information is up to date.

Communities In Schools is part of the 5th largest youth development organization in the country. We are the only ones proven to increase graduation rates AND decrease dropout rates.

We serve as the bridge between the student and the community, bringing in resources that help break down the barriers that students have to be successful in school.
