Communities In Schools of Tacoma is seeking an Event Planning and Management Intern!
The Event Planning and Management Intern will play an integral role in the planning, execution and evaluation of Communities In Schools of Tacoma events that support our mission. The Event Planning and Management Intern will work to secure donors/sponsors and plan event activities. The candidate must be able to work independently. The successful candidate will be able to complete a wide range of activities requiring clear, effective communication (both written and verbal), critical thinking, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. This position will report to the Communities In Schools of Tacoma Executive Director.

Communities In Schools is part of the 5th largest youth development organization in the country. We are the only ones proven to increase graduation rates AND decrease dropout rates.
We serve as the bridge between the student and the community, bringing in resources that help break down the barriers that students have to be successful in school.
