Volunteer Assistant Coach for Bozeman Masters Swim Club

We are seeking 1-2 volunteer coaches to oversee our club's workouts at the Bozeman Swim Center 5:30-7:00 a.m. on Mondays and Fridays, from September 1 through the spring of 2018. We expect to have up to four 25-meter lanes at these times.
The head coach will write the workouts. As a volunteer assistant coach, you would administer the workout, provide technique assistance to members, welcome visitors and new members, and perform administrative duties such as punching punch cards and validating the membership status of attendees. This past season we provided each of our two assistant coaches with a complimentary annual membership in our club (normally $400) and we paid their U.S. Masters Swimming dues. At this time we do not anticipate providing other financial compensation to our assistant coaches. If this is something you would be interested in, please submit a brief description of your swimming and coaching experience and why you are interested in coaching the Bozeman Masters. If you're not able to volunteer, but you'd be interested in the position with a different financial arrangement, please let us know what you are looking for. We'd like to fill our need by September 1.

Bozeman Masters Swim Club of Montana, Inc. (BOZE) is dedicated to supporting swimmers at all levels of performance, including fitness swimmers, competitive swimmers and triathletes, to achieve their goals related to the sport of swimming and general physical fitness. Description
The Bozeman Masters Swim Club has been an official U.S. Masters Swimming club since 2004. The volunteer-run, nonprofit program welcomes adult swimmers of all ages, abilities, and motivations, and the club’s membership represents a diverse cross-section of the Bozeman community. The club has three Level 2 USMS-Certified Masters Coaches who cater to the diverse needs of the membership, offering structured, full-body workouts to enhance fitness, core strength, aerobic conditioning, physical endurance, and stroke technique.
