About

The Arc of the Capital Area has partnered with ACC's STEPS program for late afternoon, evening and weekend art classes through the continuing education division. Classes are designed for people with all intellectual, developmental, and artistic abilities and opened to the public. Classes are held at The Arc of the Capital Area's art studio in central Austin.
We need volunteers to assist in our Animation 101 class, Wednesdays 2:30 - 4:30.
Volunteers will help students with supplies, and equipment while offering encouragement, and inspiration in an open, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere.

This course offers the opportunity to study, critique, and create animations. Students will get a comprehensive overview of equipment, software, and the animation process. Subjects will include writing, story-boarding, drawing, and animating for the camera, as well as editing and post production. Students will create their own animation.
