This role provides high-level research, communications support, and project management in support of the executive team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience providing administrative assistance to executive teams. The Executive Assistant Returnee will be responsible for working closely with the CEO on special projects spanning communications, relationship outreach, letters and compilation of funder kits and providing advanced administrative support. This is a great opportunity to work with our inspiring leader and gain valuable insight into an executive role. Our ideal candidate has significant administrative experience and is ready to give back to a smart, efficient, and globally impactful nonprofit. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.


Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with key partners
  • Draft letters and other correspondence for various stakeholders meetings
  • Conduct prospect research and draft donor communications
  • Prepare reports and analyze information
  • Manage junior team members
  • Track and communicate team progress and performance
  • Work on special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of administrative experience (experience reporting to an executive level position a plus)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Dynamic, results oriented leadership skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Strong creative problem solving and project management skills
  • Critical attention to detail and commitment to excellence
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Google applications (some training provided)
  • Understanding of legal and financial items relevant to non-profit organizations a plus
  • Prior experience with Salesforce a plus

Duration: Minimum of 15-20 hours per week for a minimum of 3 to 4 months. Ideal candidates are available to work in our San Francisco office 3-4 days/week (Monday through Friday) with the possibility of some work completed remotely. As this is a leadership position, the majority of work should be done in-office.
