Do you love to bake, but can't have the stuff sitting around your house for fear of eating it all? (I know I do!) Do your friends automatically assign you dessert when scheduling a potluck? (Mine do!)

Well, then you're just who we're looking for! Richmond Triangle Players at the Robert B. Moss Theater is looking for bakers! We like to provide an assortment of tasty baked snacks for our patrons to purchase at our shows. Our long-time provider of these treats has decided he needs a break, so we're looking for your help!

What we need from you: a batch (or two) of your favorite treat - brownies, cookies, cupcakes, etc - individually bagged for sale & delivered to our theater on Wednesday or Thursday during show weeks

What you get from us: our undying appreciation, reimbursement for your supplies (with a receipt), and possibly more! (Like a comp ticket to the show...)

If you can bring a batch of something each week, that would be awesome! Every other week, also great! Just once, still greatly appreciated!

This opportunity is also open to baking businesses! If you or a friend own a business that makes baked goods that we can sell, we will offer advertising in our program and signage in our lobby in exchange for donated baked goods! (This would be an ongoing or production run commitment.)

Contact our volunteer coordinator, Erinn, for more information!

Mission Statement

Richmond Triangle Players delivers adventurous and entertaining theater as the leading voice in the community’s explorations of equality, identity, affection and family, across sexual orientation and gender spectrums.

Description

Since its inception, Richmond Triangle Players has filled a significant void in our community's cultural life. RTP is the only professional theatre company in the Richmond area - in fact, in the entire Mid-Atlantic region -- which expressly and regularly serves the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.

It is hard to imagine that any other theater in Richmond has made a greater positive, transformational change than Richmond Triangle Players has made in the last decade. In 2010, RTP transformed an old radiator shop into a warm and welcoming new venue, after vacating the crumbling building in which its theater had been housed. Since that time, RTP has won acclaim from its growing and diverse audiences, as well as from the Richmond Theatre Critics Circle, with over 90 "Best" nominations, the inaugural People’s Choice Award, and awards for Best Play and Best Musical twice each. And in 2017, the readers of STYLE Weekly named RTP Richmond's Best Local Theater.

Richmond Triangle Players has also maintained a commitment to diversity in programming, by collaborating on new events, in showcasing some of the country’s most celebrated cabaret artists on its stage, and in opening its doors to support and incubate other theaters. The growth in the company’s scale and scope in such a short time is almost staggering. Every year, RTP hosts over 160 events to the delight of almost 10,000 enthusiastic patrons.
