We could use a few people who are comfortable painting, rigging, hanging, light repair, minor carpentry and more. Sometimes we just don't have time to stop and fix or finish something and we take pride on providing our clients and volunteers a nice place to meet. If you sign up with your preferences, we can let you know when we need you and if you are able.

Description
YOUR "TEXAS APPROVED" WEST CAMPUS HOOKUP FOR VOLUNTEERING
Street Youth Ministry is a Christ-centered ministry for street-dependent young people in Austin. Though we don't have any strict age limits, we mostly serve clients from age 17 to 27. We work alongside social work organizations and provide unique value-add weekly activities such as prayer time, Bible study, Christian fellowship and street outreach services. We provide special events such as Cold Weather Response and memorial services for the street youth community. We provide community education and leadership training for the city of Austin through public speaking, service projects, and internship programs.
