CCPA is looking for an individual or small group to adopt a classroom! Regular involvement from community volunteers demonstrates to students the importance of education, and they support the teacher and students in reaching learning goals.
Activities may include working one-on-one with students to practice sight words; leading the class in a seasonal craft or activity; assembling packets or activities for teachers; general classroom support; and more.
Classroom sponsors will work out a schedule with the classroom teacher that works for both parties. Frequency will also vary by what is best for the class and the volunteer.
