We love our volunteers at the Ferndale Cat Shelter! Whether you're a community volunteer, corporation, and/or skilled in fundraising, event coordination, IT, designing, the arts, etc., or maybe you have an idea that would help our rescue thrive, we'd love to hear from you!
Volunteering opportunities include (but not limited to!):
- Helping at the Catfe Lounge with daily workings, cleaning, and socializing with our kitties.
- TNR and rescue Team
- Becoming a foster home, or a furrrever foster home.
- Groups of volunteers at our special events and fundraisers.
- Fundraising and event ideas within your group, corporation, business, or just you!

Description
The Ferndale Cat Shelter is a non-profit 501(c)3 dedicated to providing medical care, adoption services, foster homes and trap-neuter-release programs for felines in the Ferndale area and beyond. As a no-kill organization, our mission is to improve the lives of felines in the Metro Detroit community and elevate the standards of cat guardianship and adoption. We are also affiliated with Ferndale’s Catfé Lounge, a cat café that serves as our hub for cat adoption and fostering.
