Ten Thousand Villages is looking for able bodied volunteers to help us staff the store on Weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Weekends are a really fun time to be in the shop, our busiest days, with lots of customer interactions! The days go by quickly and there are many opportunities to meet interesting people. We are looking for people who can take regular, consistent shifts, especially Saturdays and Sundays. We are open 10 AM to 6 PM Monday - Saturday and 12 to 3 PM Sunday. Volunteers greet guests, run the cash register, share our mission, help restock and keep the store tidy. Please let us know if you are interested in learning more!
The work does require that you are on your feet most of the time and we are looking for outgoing, engaging personalities who are excited about fair trade and the mission of Ten Thousand Villages.
