AT&T, Community Computer Alliance, and the YMCA of Central Ohio are hosting a donation program in which members of the community can donate laptops, desktops, and other electronic devices that will be refurbished for youth and families in need to access to technology.
Summary: Digital Drop-off Day
Saturday, August 19, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. held at seven YMCA branches
North YMCA (Main logistic location)
Grove City YMCA
Hilliard/Ray Patch Family YMCA
Liberty Township/Powell YMCA
Jerry L. Garver YMCA
Gahanna/John E. Bickley YMCA
Eldon & Elsie Ward Family YMCA
All donated items will be transported by E.E. Ward to Community Computer Alliance (709 N. James Rd. Columbus, OH 43219) following the event
Once refurbished, community members from Linden will be receiving devices through YMCA (youth participating in summer youth and/or sports program, summer learning programs, etc.)
Qualifying families will also be registered for the AT&T Laptop Access Program (must have a SNAP participant in their home) and receive internet access for $10 or $15 a month, depending on the are
