The IAIS maintains a Healing Plants Garden, a Traditional Three Sisters Garden, and a Nature Trail. Gardening Volunteers help maintain IAIS’s gardens along with the numerous identified plant species located along our trails. Knowledge of plant species, especially wild medicinal and edible plants, preferred but not required, volunteers can work with staff to learn about plants and their uses. We are looking for volunteers who are not afraid to get dirty. Bring your love of botany, horticulture, and all things plant like!
