The Leadership Training Institute's Kinship Caregiver Program provides case management and support services to relatives who are raising another relative's children in their home throughout Nassau and Suffolk County. The children have been removed from their homes for a number of reasons such as abuse, neglect and abandonment. LTI's KCP assists these kinship caregivers in maintaining a stable and safe home for the children in their care. LTI is looking for volunteers to provide support and assistance to kinship families in Nassau and Suffolk County. Experience in case management, social work, mental health preferred. Fluency in Spanish a plus!!

LTI seeks to Develop leadership skills in children and youth of disadvantaged and minority communities. The agency offers programs in the areas of education, residential care and social development. It directs efforts, energies, and resources toward educational and developmental programming and related research projects for these young people and their families. The Institute also offers programs in areas of Education, Residential Care and Social Development.

Leadership Training Institute (LTI) is a minority led, 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax exempted and membership corporation staffed organization. Based in Hempstead, New York, the Institute has a 40-year history of educational research and operational programs designed to ameliorate the complex problems of disadvantaged children and families.
