LONG ISLAND HEART WALK VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
The 2017 Long Island Heart Walk is right around the corner.
In a few weeks we’ll be lacing up our sneakers and heading to this year’s event! The route is planned, food and entertainment are being secured and excitement is building.
Preparing for an event of this size takes lots of planning and requires lots of help. We rely on volunteers to help make sure the day is picture perfect.
We are looking for volunteers to help us at this year’s Long Island Heart Walk event on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Jones Beach. There are lots of jobs to do and lots of people needed to do it.
Volunteer positions include day before event set up, day of event set up, registration, helping in the food tent (morning and afternoon), route rally, water station, finish line cheer squad and event clean up .
