Safe Harbor is one of the world's leading nonprofits in the alternative mental health field. Our mission is to educate the public, the medical field, and government agencies on healthy, nondrug treatments in mental health.
Our all-volunteer organization sponsors www.AlternativeMentalHeatlth.com, with more than 1000 people a day coming to our site.
We are a "virtual" organization with most of our work being on the Internet so your location is not important.
We are seeking a very special person to replace our retiring executive director. The volunteer we are seeking needs 10-20 hours a week to work on maintaining our existing traffic and helping us with growth and special projects.
This person needs:
A good familiarity with alternative medicine and, preferably with alternative treatments in mental health.
A good familiarity with mental health treatment in general.
A passion to help others.
Good writing skills.
Management experience.
The ability to help with or organize fundraising.
Good technical skills with Internet research, and if possible, with web sites.

Our purpose is to provide education and choice to the public in the matter of alternative mental health practices.
Description
We are an all-volunteer organization that maintains a large web repository for alternative treatments for mental health, distributes alternatives mental research to interested parties, and provides forums for practitioners and another for self-help.
