Become a Local Coordinator for International Students! Part Time- Boston, MA

We are looking for a compassionate, independent, hard -working individual interested in working with AnB Education to provide support and guidance to our international students and host families.

Responsibilities include:

v Finding host families for international students

v Meeting with potential host families

v Visiting and interviewing all potential host families

v Receiving all potential host family documentation and ensuring it is correctly completed

v Sending all potential host family documentation to AnB HQs.

v Providing assistance to student and host family during student's stay

v Supervising and providing problem-solving assistance during student's stay

v Completing monthly reporting

v Being the main communication between students, host families and our program staff

Requirements:

• Computer knowledge and experience with Microsoft word, excel and PowerPoint, Outlook email, knowledge and experience with navigating and using internet tools and resources; chrome, Google search, internet explorer, Google maps, etc.
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Ability to develop & maintain positive & supportive relationships with students and host families
• Demonstrate ability to respond to the diverse needs of international cultures
• Ability to work with & communicate effectively with students, host families, community members, external groups & within IPERC
• Ability to solve problems & mediate conflict
• Strong interpersonal, oral & written communications skills
• Willingness to learn about Asian culture
• Ability to promote & maintain confidentiality
• Ability to take initiative & work independently as well as multi-task
• 1+ years as LC position or 2+ years in position with similar responsibilities
• Valid Driver's License required
• Clean background and driving record-able to pass a criminal
