On October 20th, the American Heart Association’s American Heart Heroes program will present its CHD Family Conference at the Museum of Science & History. American Heart Heroes serves FL’s kids born and living with congenital heart defects (CHD)... we provide these families with awesome opportunities to come together for friendship, support and spirit. In a life that can be full of ups & downs living with a seriously ill child, the families are provided an extraordinary time at our conference, designed especially for the kids to have fun and just be kids. The parents will be in seminar while all kids enjoy the Museum of Science & History schedule we have for them in groups.

This event is free to our American Heart Heroes families and provides parking, admission,lunch and FUN. Reputable and fun-loving volunteers are needed from multiple avenues to fill the special spots to lead kids’ groups through their Jungle Island schedule. Groups are divided by age, volunteers can be placed by age preference if desired. Dress is very casual and volunteers are asked to contact us to sign up to volunteer.
