Volunteer Phone Receptioinist Needed at the State Museum!

The South Carolina State Museum is looking for a cheerful, friendly volunteer with a good speaking voice to answer the main museum phone. Volunteers will learn about museum events and programs and be able to transfer calls to staff when needed. Hands on training will be provided and an information binder is available.
Benefits include a package of guest passes, 20% discount in the museum store and cafe and the opportunity to meet people and have fun.
This is a sit down job. We need phone help Wednesday, Thursday or Friday from 10am - 2pm. Hours within that time can be flexible but we would like a commitment to a schedule that is convenient for you.
