On August 20th, Como Park Zoo and Conservatory will be hosting the Japanese Obon Festival, a family-friendly event reminiscent of Japan's annual Obon holiday.
We are in need of a group of volunteers to come help our maintenance team in their effort to set up a temporary fence. A group could come on Wednesday, August 16th or Thursday, August 17th at about 8:30 to help with this effort. We could use about 10 volunteers for this task. We would anticipate this project will be completed, or close to it, in one morning shift.
This is a perfect option for a corporate group looking for a one time opportunity. Please contact us if you can help!

Admission to both the Como Zoo and Marjorie McNeely Conservatory is always free and a voluntary donation is appreciated.
