Household Sale Volunteers assist the volunteer department leads and volunteer co-chairs with executing a variety of tasks to prepare for the RMHC Household Sale.
We are in need of Volunteers in the following Departments:
- Holiday
- Housewares
- Sporting Goods
- Electronics
- Clothing
Tasks:
- Accepting and sorting donated goods pertaining to assigned department.
- Testing, cleaning and inspecting all donations for re-sale opportunity.
- Organize goods in department.
- Assist lead volunteer with pricing if needed.
- Selling department goods during Sale week.
- Answering customer questions during Sale week.
- Assist with tear down and cleanup post-sale.

Description
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Rochester provides a "home-away-from-home" for families of children receiving health care in the Rochester community. We accomplish this by:
* Caring for families and keeping them close to their children at our 24-bedroom Westmoreland House
* Caring for parents of the most critically ill and injured children at our House Within the Hospital located near the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Golisano Children’s Hospital.
* Providing respite for families in the Ronald McDonald Family Room at Golisano Children's Hospital
* Providing respite for families in the Family Lounge at Rochester General Hospital
*Supporting families at the Pediatric Outpatient Ambulatory Clinic at Golisano Children's Hospital
