Task Description
We are looking for a passionate Lead Web Developer, who is ready to take our website to the next level. You will engineer solutions to challenging and meaningful problems, with the ultimate goal of enhancing our member experience. You possess great programming skills, have a sound understanding of engineering best practices and have the drive to deliver the very best. Our ideal candidate will be able to successfully complete tasks and projects independently as well as part of a team. Additionally, you must have excellent communication skills, as you will be interfacing with various departments and the Executive Management Team to fulfill NAAHP's mission. This position reports directly to the Director of Membership.
Ability to design and develop clean, top-quality user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript.
Work as part of a team to deliver solutions in an Agile fashion.
Ability to break down complex product requirements, providing development estimates as needed.
Deliver high-quality code that has been thoroughly tested.
Performs another task as assigned by the Director of Membership.
3+ years of software development experience.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Experience with WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience interfacing with RESTful API web services.
Management experience to influence and achieve excellence.
Strong writing and proofreading skills.
Proficiency in problem-solving and time management skills managing multiple deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Experience with NeonCRM, MemberMouse or other Database software.
Experience with distributed version control (git).
Experience with Google Analytics.
Experience with collaborating with designers using Zeplin.
Experience building and managing style guides.
Experience with MailChimp email marketing platform.
