Come join The Watershed Project staff for the 33rd Annual California Coastal Cleanup Day, the state’s largest shoreline cleanup project. On this international day of action, volunteers are needed to remove harmful plastic debris and other trash that accumulates on our beaches and inland shorelines. Join us for a fun day enjoying the Bulb, while we combine cleaning up trash and recyclables, and citizen science as we tabulate our finds to contribute to an international data base. Together, we can help protect marine habitat and beautify our beaches. Bring your families and friends.
All materials are provided, but bring your own reusable items- plastic baskets, bags, gloves and water bottles- if you can. Sand sifters are also useful on the beach. Wear boots or shoes that can get dirty, and protect yourself from too much sun. Please have your dog on a 6' leash in the registration area and on the beach during this special event.
Contact us for further information at coastalcleanup@thewatershedproject.org, 510-665-3430. Please RSVP for groups of 10 or more. Pre-register online: goo.gl/KhdrRW
