When: Saturday, September 16, 9am - 12pm

Where: Shimada Friendship Park, Peninsula Drive and Marina Bay Pkwy, Richmond CA

Who: The Watershed Project

Come join The Watershed Project staff for the 33rd Annual California Coastal Cleanup Day, the state’s largest shoreline cleanup project. On this international day of action, volunteers are needed to remove massive debris that accumulates on our beaches and inland shorelines. Together, we can help protect marine habitat. Bring your families and friends.

Volunteers will walk the Bay Trail and the edge of the salt marsh picking up trash and debris. All materials are provided, but bring your own reusable items- plastic baskets, bags, gloves and water bottles- if you can. Wear boots or shoes that can get dirty. There will be a free BBQ at noon.

Contact us for further information at coastalcleanup@thewatershedproject.org, 510-665-3430. Please RSVP for groups of 10 or more. Pre-register online: goo.gl/bzhpmM
