ORGANIZATION: American Liver Foundation - AZ, NM, NV, UT

On Thursday, September 21, 2017, the American Liver Foundation - Desert Southwest Division will be hosting an Ask the Experts Liver Educational Conference at Mt Graham Regional Medical Center. These conferences are open to the public for education on liver related illnesses with presentations from various medical professionals working directly with patients.

We are looking for a volunteer to assist the Community Outreach & Education Manager for 3 hours during this conference, from 5pm - 8pm. The volunteer would help set up the display booth; greet and register attendees; take pictures of presenters, audience, and vendors; and post updates to several social media platforms.

Description

The American Liver Foundation - Desert Southwest Division runs programs and events throughout Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, and Utah. The goal is to reach the community to provide education and support through school presentations, free educational conferences, free Hepatitis testing at events and health fairs, and support groups. Now that we are facing a "virtual reality", we are seeking volunteers to help us with various upcoming programs, including educational events, fundraising galas, and projects.
