Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Ann Arbor is a 5K Walk taking place on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Washtenaw Community College. The walk is the only breast cancer walk in Washtenaw County and benefits the American Cancer Society's breast cancer innitiatives.

We are looking for volunteers with the skills and interest to plan entertainment for along the walk route (which is about 1mile as the 5K walk is three laps around a portion of the Washtenaw Community College Campus) and find live music to play on stage.

In the past, route entertainment has consisted of cheer stations & musical groups who performed. This volunteer would have a goal of organizing any existing groups to entertain, recruiting more entertainment, being their point of contact for information leading up to the event, being a part of the event on October 27th, and help write thank you notes to the groups after the event.

An ideal candidate for this role has excellent organizational and communication skills, has connections with groups in the community (or is willing to reach out to groups to help recruit), and plans well in advance.
