Work closely with the Florida Department of Health's Sexual Risk Avoidance Grant while partnering with Sarasota County Schools to provide Sexual Risk Avoidance education to students in our county. Volunteer will be working with the county health educator to develop new parent education curriculum, engaging students, and working with other community leaders to provide award winning, evidence based education to students.

In addition, volunteers will be assisting with our new branding initiative for our program and will be expected to provide research and reports on various subjects throughout the internship.

The volunteer will be responsible for coordinating continuing parent education classes and facilitating them, attending student classes when available, and networking within the community. Other tasks will be assigned as we move forward in the school year.
