Description

Volunteers in our Client Services/Intake Department handle all things administration including reception, data entry, interviewing clients to assess their needs and processing required documents in order to confirm eligibility to receive services.

Volunteers are needed Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Participant Notes: All participants must fill out a volunteer application and are subject to a background check.

Location Details

To determine eligibility for services, Catholic Charities references the Federal Poverty Level (FPL), which is a measure of income issued every year by the Department of Health and Human Services, and ask that our clients provide us with proof of identification, address and income. All information is input into a computer program before clients are directed to either our Food Pantry/Warehouse or Thrift Store to receive the services they are in need of.
