Call for volunteers:

At Cancer Lifeline, we provide emotional support, resources, educational classes and exercise programs designed to support people in all stages of the cancer process. Our volunteers provide a wide range of specialized talents and skills and we depend on their energy and enthusiasm!

We are currently looking for volunteers to:

  • Provide emotional support and resource referrals on our Lifeline (must complete a 20 hour in-person training)
  • Help with administrative tasks such as reminder calls and mailings
  • Be a knowledgeable Cancer Lifeline representative tabling events in the community

Volunteer opportunities are currently available in a variety of areas and we are recruiting now for our volunteer training in late February.

Upcoming 3-Day Training Dates:

Monday Feb 26, 10am-4pm
Tuesday Feb 27, 10am-4pm
Tuesday Mar 6, 10am-4pm

***Cancer Lifeline Volunteers are required to complete three days (20 hours) of training***

Our Lifeline is available Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm and is open to patients, caregivers, family and friends looking for emotional support, resources and registering for our classes. Our Lifeline volunteers complete the active listening training and agree to take one Lifeline shift per week for one year.
