Keep North Charleston Beautiful is looking for volunteers to work in our beautiful gardens around Park Circle. This is the time of year when we have the most butterflies visiting the garden and fun programs introducing the members of the community to the garden. This position is available on weekdays (Monday - Thursday). The volunteer hours during the week are flexible but mornings are usually more comfortable before it gets hot in the afternoon.

This is a great opportunity for volunteers who love nature to support the garden through volunteering. No experience is necessary and all training will be provided. If you are a hard worker and love to be outside surrounded by flowers and wildlife this the volunteer position for you. You will be working in the butterfly garden helping us make the garden inviting to the butterflies and all other creatures that call the garden home. Some of the tasks included will be installing newspaper to prevent weeds, raking debris out of the garden, picking up limbs and debris in the garden, cleaning off the picnic tables and benches watering some of the plants in the garden, and wiping off picnic tables and benches. You will receive basic gardening skills if needed and get to work with some generous people working together to help the environment. Come volunteer with us. The butterflies are waiting!
