Math Buddies

Have you always been good with numbers? Would you like to help children learn to love math too? Math Buddies gives adult volunteers the opportunity to work with 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade children on a weekly basis during the school day. Volunteers will work with students individually and in small groups to provide them extra math practice.

Last year, Math Buddies helped over 200 children improve their math skills and confidence. Principals and teachers have enthusiastically asked our volunteers to return each year. We are currently recruiting Math Buddies for Morse Elementary in the Poughkeepsie City School District and Arthur S May School in the Arlington School District.
