National Seniors Day is on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM at Milne Recreation Center.
Setup/Breakdown (10): The person(s) in this role will assist with the set up and break down of the venue, which includes indoor and outdoor setup/breakdown on the day of the event. Set up begins at 8:00 AM. Breakdown will begin promptly at 2:00 PM.
Greeter/Guide (5): The person (s) in this role will welcome attendees and answer questions about the flow of the day. The person(s) in this role will also guide seniors to workshops as needed.
Registration/Check-In (5): The person(s) in this role will check in attendees upon arrival and distribution registration packets.
Food Server (10): The person(s) in this role will assist with the distribution of food/beverage.
Water Ambassadors (5): The person(s) in this role will ensure that all seniors have access to water throughout the day.
A volunteer training will be scheduled once volunteers are secured.

Description
Everyday New Orleans families walk down the street to a NORDC park. They play fetch with the dog or slide and swing on the playground equipment. Youth participate in athletic programming like football or cheerleading that anchor our communities. Many hands contribute to NORDC. Come have a positive impact on New Orleans, join us!
