Above and Beyond Family Recovery Center seeks a special person with an almost magical ability to take the deep familiarity of who we are (which will be an acquired sensitivity that'll take a moment) to the social media waves in order to represent us as the loving, uber-licensed and qualified, family of therapists and reformed for-profiters that we are (we are a 501C3 benevolent non-profit). We want someone who can help us to radiate our gargantuan tolerance and non-judgement as we wrestle with one of the toughest, most ignored and mistreated constituencies that exists: The Homeless, The Disenfranchised, The Uninsured, The Ignored, The Vulnerable and The Mentally and Behaviorally Challenged.

This position is primarily responsible for directly interacting with Meetup.com, Google, Glass Door, Yelp, Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, and about fifty other virtual places that hover out there in cyberspace and shower us all with relentless barrages of nonsensical, self-serving stimulus that requires a calloused stamina to withstand.

We don't want that.

We want to assault observers with love, acceptance, and innovative recovery options. We want to be seen as very different than the rest of the world because we are different than the rest of the world.

So we need "another one of us." A quirky, kind of funny in a non-witty way, a brilliant writer who knows how to twist up the internet in new and different ways that will turn heads. S/he will occupy a position of esteem and importance, saturated in the experiential richness of watching a variety of otherwise-ignored substance abusing constituencies come out of the fog and begin to operate as functional members of their families and communities. The experience of contributing to these numerous life-changing events is transformational and rewarding in a very rare way. The uniqueness of our treatment center is evident upon entry, but our clinical protocol is what stands the recovery "norms" on their heads.
