We are seeking support from dedicated individuals or community groups to enhance the organization by way of making good evaluation with event crowd control and support board members as runners on site.
We are asking for 3-4 hour shifts on one or both days. Each volunteer will receive a shirt and then at the completion of the shift, will be provided a meal.

Mission Statement
Pacific Talent Academy of the Arts (formerly Fireknife of Samoa) was founded to preserve and perpetuate Pacific Island culture by organizing workshops, competitions, performances, and cultural events. These events ultimately provide an avenue for Pacific Island youth to compete and share their talents in the forms of fireknife dancing, Tahaitian solo dancing (or ori), and traditional and contemporary song and chanting.
Description
Pacific Talent Academy of the Arts host an annual Weekend in Polynesia event complete with spectacular Fire Knife Competition, Ito (International Tahitian Ori) Competition and allow the community to come together with Polynesian foods and crafts. It also showcase other talents by way of performances throughout the weekend event.
