To Know, Love, and Serve - Street Dependent Youth
Street Youth Ministry exists to know, love and serve street-dependent young people. We do the things you would expect from a homeless organization, but the most important thing we do is help our clients find hope. We were founded in 2008 by Terry Cole and incorporated as a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization in 2012.

On Wash Night, we host a group of 8 to 15 people who meet with our clients to do laundry in the event. We are doing Wash Night using our new drop-in facility. We collect laundry and the laundry team will go start the laundry at Coin Convenience laundromat at 24th and San Gabriel (vehicle needed). The remainder of volunteers and all our clients will hang out at the drop-in. The volunteer group supply quarters and laundry supplies. The volunteer food team will make sandwiches (or other simple buffet food) with clients and offer drinks (soft drinks and water or other seasonally appropriate drinks). The volunteers hospitality team is responsible for leading a prayer concert about an hour into the event. The volunteer store team will work with clients to find any needed items from our clothing and toiletries. All the volunteer teams help with clean-up and we hold a group debriefing session with our staff to conclude the event.
