We are looking for assistant soccer coaches to help with Special Olympics Nevada soccer training. Athletes train in team competition and Individual Skills, such as shooting, kicking, and dribbling.
As an assistant coach, you do not need to know a lot of soccer. We want you to bring your positivity and energy. The head coach will help you get settled in.
All volunteers are required to complete a volunteer application and on-line orientation. Those 18 and over must submit a background check. This can all be found on our website:

Practices are one day a week for an hour and a half.

Special Olympics Nevada offers free sports training and competition opportunities every day, throughout the year in fourteen different sports. Paid staff operate in one office and oversee 12 local area programs that are run by volunteers. Special Olympics Nevada's office is based in Las Vegas.
Description
Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for people eight years of age and older with intellectual disabilities. Our programs give our athletes continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other athletes and the community.
