The Hyattsville Arts & Ales Festival is a celebration of the arts, culture, taste and sounds of Prince George's County. Featuring over 100 artisan vendors, 6 musical performers, craft breweries, and food trucks, this family-friendly event offers everyone a reason to come explore the Gateway Arts District!
Our small, but mighty team is looking for some STRONG, ENERGETIC VOLUNTEERS to assist with festival set-up, event assistance, and take-down. Responsibilities include: moving and setting up festival tents with a team, moving and setting up 6 ft tables and chairs, distributing festival programs, assisting artists/vendors, and documenting the festival via photo and video.
Three volunteer shifts are available on September 23rd:
- 8am-12pm shift for setting up booth areas and tents to ensure a safe environment for our attendees!
- 12pm-4pm shift for guiding visitors to parking and festival features, passing out information, and taking lots of photos and video!
- 4pm-8pm shift for helping exhibitors prepare to leave, and for breaking down and cleaning up the festival for the convenience of the community!
As a thank you, all volunteers for the morning and afternoon shifts, 21+ will receive one free beer from one of the festival brewers after their shift. Community Service Hours are also available!
We hope to see you there!
