Each year, the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis creates and sells a 12-month calendar featuring the beautiful, smiling faces of community members of all ages. Local photographers graciously donate their time, talents, and pictures to make this all possible. The Friends for All Seasons Family Picnic is a really fun afternoon at the park for families, and where photographers take the photos that are used for the calendar. Volunteers are needed to help coordinate sessions with photographers and families, help with check-in and assignments, food and drinks, games and activities, and passing out carousel tokens. Interested volunteers can contact Abigail Beckord, abigailbeckord@dsagsl.org.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis is to benefit the lives of people with Down syndrome and their families through individual and family support, education, public awareness and advocacy.
Description
What started out as a small group aiming to make a difference has turned in a large, far reaching organization with many of the same core values and goals.
Today the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis has a membership list of over 3,000 households including 1,800 individuals with Down syndrome. We have three core service areas: Awareness & Advocacy, Education and Family Support.
DSAGSL benefits the lives of people with Down syndrome and their families through a lifetime of support, education and advocacy. We envision a community where all people with Down syndrome can achieve their full potential. We are comprised of families, friends and professionals with this common interest. We know the joys and also understand the challenges of a child born with Down syndrome. We exist as an organization to encourage and support individuals with Down syndrome and their families on this journey.
