Medical Record Transfer Volunteer needed to process requests for patient medical records. Prepare medical record folders and contents and copy/fax appropriate documents for requestor following established policies and procedures and ensuring patient confidentiality. Must have good organizational skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy, and be quality focused.
We are looking for a time commitment of one half day (3 hours) on a weekly basis.

Description
Founded in 2001, The Clinic was the dream of two women, Dr. Lorna B. Stuart and the Reverend Marie Swayze. Dr. Stuart and Marie wanted to create a medical center that would provide primary medical care services to people who did not have medical insurance. Phoenixville Free Clinic is located in the former rectory of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Phoenixville.
The populations we serve are people who truly fall through the cracks of human and social services. Our patients are people from all walks of life, from downsized employees and small business owners, to students and recent immigrants; old and young, male and female. They do not qualify for Medicare or Medicaid. Since opening, we have provided over 150,000 patient visits. Our services include primary care as well as pediatrics, cardiology, pulmonary, orthopedics, allergy, gynecology, physical therapy and mental health counseling.
We rely on corporate, individual donations and grants.
Our volunteers are the heart and soul of Phoenixville Free Clinic that we could not exist without.
