The Friends of the Library Book Sale features formerly-loved but gently-used books. Join us for this fun community event by volunteering at the sale. Most shifts are two to three hours long. All volunteers receive a $5 book voucher to be used at the sale - our thanks for your hard work. All proceeds go directly to the Pleasant Hill Library for programs and materials purchases.

The purpose of this organization shall be: To foster closer relations between the Pleasant Hill Library and the citizens of Pleasant Hill and its environs To raise funds through book sales or other means to benefit the library. To promote knowledge of the functions, resources, services and needs of the library; To lead in the development of a program for the extension and improvement of adequate housing and other facilities for the library

The Friends of the Pleasant Hill Library was formed in 1953. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and consist entirely of volunteers.
