Literacy Advance offers free English classes to adults in the Houston community through the generosity of kind neighbors like you. Can you help us continue to deliver on our mission of transforming lives and communities through the doorway of literacy by becoming a daytime English as a Second Language (ESL) tutor at Ripley House Neighborhood Center?

It's fun, and you DON'T need teaching experience or to know a second language to be a great ESL tutor! We provide free training, materials, and resources; and we do all of the administrative work, too.

Weekday class will start in September. If you think you can help, or you just want to find out more, please contact us today to get started with a 1-hour introduction.

Please note: Tutors must be 18 years and older.
