On Tuesdays in Tampa from 9:00-3:00 volunteers help deliver donated furniture to our community's needy families and individuals. Strong individuals are needed to load and unload furniture while others help with making beds, putting away dishes, hanging pictures and whatever else can be done to make a house a home! Meanwhile, back at the warehouse, additional volunteers sort through linens, housewares and other donations so they are ready to find and use for future deliveries.
On Saturday mornings, willing individuals help load and unload furniture donations, riding in the box truck to the pick up stops.
In addition to the joy brought to the families and individuals, friendships are strengthened among the volunteers, knowing the difference they are making in this community--one bed at a time!
