The American Kidney Fund is looking for Spanish translators to assists us in our screening tent at Houston Kidney Action Day. We will be performing free blood pressure, blood glucose and kidney function screenings. Volunteers should be able to translate medical terminology to assist screening participants. We are looking for pleasant and effective communicators to help make Kidney Action Day a successful one.
Kidney Action Day involves free health screenings (kidney disease, hypertension, diabetes, etc.), health education and various family friendly activities. Kidney Action Dayis part of a national effort to increase awareness of kidney disease and to encourage individuals to get/stay healthy.
