Project Look Museum Education Internship
Interested in museum education, art-making, and working with children?
Project Look offers tours of exhibitions to K-5 th grade students from local schools. Docents and interns lead interactive tours of the Art Center galleries and support the instruction of hands-on art activities.
Interns support the Project Look program by leading tours and assisting with hands-on art making. Interns will receive training in developing practical and engaging teaching strategies. For many of the children participating in the program, Project Look is their first museum experience; as an intern, you are helping children cultivate a love for museums and the arts. Interns work closely with staff and are encouraged to network and strengthen their professional skills.
Designed for college and graduate students, as well as adults interested in re-entering the workforce or exploring a career change, Art Center internships give you the opportunity to enhance professional skills, build your professional network, and serve the community.

- Possess classroom experience or related course work
- Skilled in time management, prioritization, and organization
- Flexible, able to self-start, and have a passion for the arts and/or creative endeavors
- A strong communicator
- Comfortable interacting with the public

When you will work...
