Families will trick-or-treat in MidwayVillage Museum’s charming Victorian Village! More than 24 village buildings will be specially decorated for Halloween by local community groups. There will also be additional children’s activities such as crafts, games, and dancing as well as the Enchanted Woods experience which has been completely redesigned to eliminate entrance wait times and also create interactive activities.
Volunteers opportunities include:
Admissions Team:
- Ipad volunteer - Take credit card payments via The Square and input cash payment information. Training will be provided. Very user friendly program.
- Cash volunteer - Take cash payments
- Sticker volutneer - Give visitor the appropriate sticker that will identify that they have paid for admission.
- Ipad volunteer
- Helpers - assist with food and beverages
- Volunteer will assist with monitoring the lines to ensure they are moving in an orderly fashion.
- Morning Shift: 1:30pm-5:00pm
- Afternoon Shift: 4:30pm-8:00pm

Welcome to the award-winning Midway Village Museum! The museum campus sits on a 148-acre campus conveniently located near I-90 in Rockford, Illinois. The museum is comfortably nestled among trees to create a beautiful ambiance at any time of the year. Our Victorian-era Village and Main Museum Center are centrally located on the campus within walking distance of each other.
