Race Teams Needed Each year, Pet Community Center participates in a 5K to raise money for local pets and community cats. Join us as we participate for the first time in the Nashville Oktoberfest 5K Bier Run! The 5K is casual, fun, and costumes are encouraged! It’s an opportunity to rally your friends, family, or coworkers to help save pet lives and keep animals out of the shelter. There will be friendly competition between teams, contests, and prizes!
We're looking for groups to create race teams to support Pet Community Center! Teams can be made up of friends, family, coworkers, school groups and more. If you want to have an awesome time while saving pets in Nashville, this is the opportunity for you!

Each year animal lovers from across Middle Tennessee participate in a fun 5K walk/run to support the life saving programs of Pet Community Center! Runners and walkers of all levels are encouraged to join in the fun!

in Historic Germantown
Team Spay it Forward is the longest running (pun intended) race team in Pet Community Center history! Collectively, we have raised more than $46,000 for spay/neuter since 2012. Our motivation is the lives that are saved. There is nothing worse than seeing dogs and cats in need of homes. Though Pet Community Center has made great strides in reduce pet overpopulation in Nashville since opening in 2014, there are many, many more dogs, cats, and community cats that are falling through the cracks. The good news is, we can reach them with your help!
We're looking for individuals that want to raise support for pets and join our Team Spay it Forward 5K Team!

Description
We want every pet to receive the high-quality veterinary care they deserve. Providing affordable and accessible veterinary care services is the key to our success.
Pet Community Center (PCC) operates a high-volume, low-cost spay/neuter and vaccine clinic in Nashville, TN run by highly skilled veterinarians, clinicians, and nonprofit professionals. As of the end of 2023, we have served over 125,000 animals.
Additionally, PCC is tackling barriers to veterinary care and provides outreach and support to pet owners who live in veterinary care deserts. The results of PCC’s work include lower pet homelessness rates, lower shelter euthanasia rates, and improved public health and quality of life in neighborhoods across Davidson County.
