Scarecrow Harvest Festival

Families of all ages are invited to enjoy harvest festival activities at the village. They include Scarecrow Making, Horse Drawn Wagon Rides, Apple & Pumpkin Games, Craft Projects, Scavenger Hunt, Dancing & Storytelling, Historic Cooking Demos, Antique Farm Demos and much, much more!
Volunteers opportunities include:
Admissions Team:
- Ipad volunteer - Take credit card payments via The Square and input cash payment information. Training will be provided. Very user friendly program.
- Cash volunteer - Take cash payments
- Sticker volutneer - Give visitor the appropriate sticker that will identify that they have paid for admission.
- Ipad volunteer
- Scarecrow building helpers
- Volunteer will assist with monitoring the wagon ride line.
- Morning Shift: 10:30am-1:30pm
- Afternoon Shift: 1:00pm-4:00pm
This is a great opportunity to welcome families to this unique and entertaining experience! Volunteer one shift and get entrance to this event FREE plus lunch!

Description
Welcome to the award-winning Midway Village Museum! The museum campus sits on a 148-acre campus conveniently located near I-90 in Rockford, Illinois. The museum is comfortably nestled among trees to create a beautiful ambiance at any time of the year. Our Victorian-era Village and Main Museum Center are centrally located on the campus within walking distance of each other.
