Neighborhood Resource Center is committed to increasing volunteer and intern engagement in order to improve NRC core economics and community vision of having a thriving, inclusive Greater Fulton by strengthening families, building relationships, adequate sharing resources, and developing skills to enhance lives.

The community of Greater Fulton is an area with limited access to affordable and nutritious food as there is no adequate grocery store in walkable distance. We at the NRC harvest produce from our community garden and facilitate a farm stand, every Thursday from 4 PM to 6 PM. In order to ensure that our neighbors are able to have equal opportunity at healthy living. We also partner with our neighbors Shalom, Victory, and Agriberry Farms to bring a variety of fresh produce at a very low price point. During the farm stand we also allow our After School youth to participate in working the farm stand in order to help them learn commerce.

You will need to have a flexible attitude as the Farm Stand requires a variety of task. You will be working outside for a greater portion of the time. We ask that you dress accordingly dependent on the weather. You will be working with the our Garden Coordinator in order to monitor transactions, provide accurate record keeping, supervise our youth, as well as data collection of all that come to purchase. You will also be asked to help adversite and promote the Farm Stand inside the Greater Fulton community.

Time Commitment: Every Thursday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM We ask that you can commit to at least an hour of volunteering.

We thank you in advance and we are looking forward to bettering our community with you.
