Relay 5K Director

We are currently looking for a volunteer to help us put together from scratch a 5K event. This person will be a part of the Event Leadership Team for the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life of Las Vegas. The team starts meeting in late August/early September and meets once or twice a month until after the Relay event on April 14, 2018. You would determine when and how often to meet with your committee to plan, organize, and execute a successful 5K event.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Recruit committee members to help with event
• Determine walk route
• Apply for appropriate permits
• Determine appropriate sponsors and contact
• Determine entry fee and create entry form
• Promot event
• Secure supplies/vendors
• Prepare race site
• Prepare information packet for runners
